How activation works
Standard listings deliver a code, login or instructions after payment; some take a few hours. Follow those steps on the intended profile. For email invites, enter that profile's email at checkout and open the delivered link in a desktop browser where you are signed in. Contact support within the activation window if the invite fails.
LinkedIn's own trial option
LinkedIn's Premium site offers a free Career trial for eligible members. Students can check their own profile for eligibility and the renewal terms before paying for an offer here. Trial availability on one profile does not establish eligibility on another.
Before you buy
New user refers to your history with that Premium product, not simply the age of your LinkedIn profile. A wrong new-user or existing-user choice can fail at redemption. The new versus existing account guide explains the distinction.
Frequently asked questions
How much is LinkedIn Premium?
Here, two months of Career for a profile new to Career is $6.99, and two months of Business for a profile new to Business is $12.99. Existing-user and Sales Navigator offers have separate prices and eligibility rules.
Can I get free LinkedIn Premium for students?
LinkedIn offers a Career trial to eligible members. Check the offer on your own profile; being a student alone does not establish that a trial is available to you. The listings here are paid access offers.
Is LinkedIn Premium worth it?
Career fits job searching and learning, Business adds company insights, and Sales Navigator fits lead research. Pick the plan whose tools you will use during the listed term, then check your profile's eligibility.
Is a LinkedIn Premium discount valid for an existing subscriber?
Use the existing-account Career or Business listing if the profile already had that product. New-user offers have different rules. Follow the eligibility and activation instructions delivered with your chosen unit.
